Teaching to the Dumbest / Smartest? - gangsters strategy
I will be in the next year, all junior and a gap of Pre-AP classes for juniors and seniors. These years have the opportunity to regularly and AP. Now, in mainstream classes, I draw from 97 to 100 a year, AP classes, struggling to get under the 70. Why teach in the world, not only the stupidest and most intelligent and ditch all the children on average? I'm smart, but can not handle college [AP] classes present. I'm so angry. I have AP English, because we were given the task. I have ... but they were on my head. So I decided to go to school STUPID! Suitable for Pre-AP / Honors classes? Why this teaching strategy? I do not fit the nerd or a gangster. . . . Pre-AP classes who only want to prepare for the media to go to college and all the nerds and do well, but are not. [This is the stereotype.]

Remember, colleges look more at your GPA, as a rule, if you take the advanced training. Advanced Placement courses are as rigorous as courses in the school who may be academic recognition (received for them.) Is perfect for all students of the 10th to fight at this level of work. The universities are more about their community service and participation in other activities, as well as search, rounded students, not only academic egghead. ;)
You should not feel "stupid" in the usual manner. If you have a high level, obviously you're not stupid, quite the opposite. Rather than emphasize, not AP courses focus on the exploration of other interests. If you know what you want to specialize, the search for an internship or work in this area. Search does not fit ", if not with the" geeks and gangsters ". ;)
I understand what you say. I think it's funny to hear kids complain that I do not want half (to be mean or anything), because until 9 Year, the school is dedicated to the children, as children to the curb. I think that changes.
I think we teach that gifted the way, because the school, No Child Left Behind Act, more flexible, than against the middle school and elementary school. There, they teach children the average, no more and no less. Now you can to teach students so that they do.
It really depends on your school. I do not think the classes are as stupid respective categories
